I was first introduced to the world of Medicare when I worked as a fiduciary Financial Advisor with Thrivent Financial. While Thrivent had their own proprietary Medicare Supplement insurance back then, we were sending our clients to the Social Security office to learn about Medicare Advantage and Stand-Alone Prescription Drug plan options. This was not acceptable to me, so I went to work to become licensed to educate and sell Medicare products.  When someone is first eligible to Medicare, the world is their oyster, and they cannot be declined for the coverage they choose to apply for. This does not always hold true years down the line when they may wish to make changes. Therefore, I truly believe it is important to understand all of your options and make an educated decision based on your health history, preferred providers, and your budget. Although I now work full-time at our church, I continue to renew my Medicare credentials each year to serve my existing and new clients here in Colorado.  Medicare agents and Medicare plans come and go. I believe I provide a consistent and safe space to learn what's available to you today.
